Xiaomi releases its latest smartphone Poco M3 in the Indian market with a price segment of Rs.10499 for the base segment. It’s giving tough competition to the Redmi 9 power and the Moto G9 power with this price. A decent battery backup, a triple upgraded camera, and more RAM variant offer more improvement compared to its previous handset Poco M2. The back of the Poco M3 is well designed and makes the smartphone look more expensive than it actually is. The raised camera module has a piano black design element around it that across the back of the phone and has a large Poco logo. While this looks good, it’s the only spot on the Poco M3 that picks up fingerprints. This also prevents the phone from rocking about too much when lying flat on a table.
A well-placed button on the right side including a fingerprint scanner inside the power button. The fingerprint scanner on the side of the phone is easy to reach and unlocks the phone quickly. The SIM tray is on the left side as well as a 3.5mm jack, while the primary speaker and microphone are both placed at the bottom and the secondary speaker are on the top of the Poco M3. The design of the Poco M3 is fresh and new in the market and the back of the handset looks expensive but not actually is. The enhanced camera module is framed by a piano black design feature that runs the length of the phone and has a huge Poco logo.
Software and Variant

The Poco M3 has a triple rear camera setup highlighted by a 48MP camera. An f/1.8 aperture lens in front of the sensor produces 0.8µm pixel size. The main camera is supplemented by a 2MP macro secondary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. When AI is allowed in the camera app, it can identify what the phone is pointed at and adjust the size automatically. The Poco M3 has a good factor analysis that can identify both people and non-living items. In comparison to the primary camera, the macro camera allows you to go closer to the subject.
